Media can Make Orissa United

Why there is regionalism and partition in Orissa?

Sambalpur and the neighboring districts want them to be living in a new state. If a small state like Orissa could have regional feelings and partition feelings then isn’t a great drawback and lacking in political competency. If our politicians; the true patriot could work for it and discover appropriate solution for it then it would not happen. But is there anybody who thinks for the furious future consequence of regionalism. Actually what politicians want? Unity or Partition!!

Should media come forward and act to make Orissa united forever?

Media's Role Educating People

Once upon a time Orissa was acknowledged for its brave soldiers, trade expertise and education across the countries. If we see the standard and people of today’s Orissa there is only hunger, illiteracy and corruption found. So how long shall we accept this as our fundamental right of living life!! Is there any solution by which we could compete with Andhra Pradesh and Gujarat!! Yes, It could be possible if media play an active role educating people by disseminating developmental information.

Oriya Newspapers: Blinds Following Blinds

I don't want to cease my freedom of expression; so here I am trying to unfold the "blind following blind's path" of our oriya newspapers’ policies. Let leave Developmental stories if we discuss about different crucial issues and events prioritized to Orissa that time is there any vernacular daily gives an intellectual touch on that particular issue. No doubt they follow their individual editorial policies but where is the appropriate suggestion. We consider press the fourth estate but when we will be lost morale value and prime ethics then there is no value but only commercial intention what our media moguls have proved themselves.
Start reviewing from front to op-ed and last page, did you find any research, real-in-depth investigation or suggestion-for-solution? If NO…Why? If yes, then it must be very rare.

We never ask ourselves or never think about the consequences.

Shall we strive to bring a change in Oriya Media Industry? We have to cover miles to become comparable with other regional media such as Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Marathi, Punjabi, etc. O’ Lord give us thy blessings that we may change the scenario of Oriya Media status. We can’t tolerate to be recognized as underprivileged.
